Mary's Journeys
Set as alternate Seasons 6 and 7 of Buffy, Mary writes a
post-'The Gift' Spike with tender detail. The story is darkly
beautiful and touching, with just enough comedy to make
it just the right Buffy blend.
Journeys can be found here at www.allaboutspike.com.
Mary's Lost In You
Sexy Spuffy. Yum. Read it!

Here's another wonderful recommendation for a
Buffy/Pirates crossover in which Norrington dimension
hops right into the Summers' home in Sunnydale. This
story hits my kinks in the best ways, and I hope that you
enjoy it.
Here's the link: Greedy Slayer's Rough Drabbling.
Just_Sue's Buyer Beware
I've just begun reading this and am already hooked. Buyer
Beware takes place four years after Season Four. The
Initiative is still going strong and have a valuable
commodity: chipped vampire slaves.
Buyer Beware is archived at
The Spuffy Realm.
CaroMio's What If I'm Not The Slayer?
What if Buffy came back as a regular average girl after the
Master killed her and Xander revived her? I'd recommend
this story on premise alone, which is intriguing and fun,
but the first-person diary entry intro is primo Buffy
characterization.
Draconin's Those Whom Moses Forgets
Brief, solid, moving. This is the story of Carl, an officer on
the Sunnydale Police force.
Barb's BtVS Fanfic
A Raising In The Sun, Necessary Evils, Parliament of
Monsters. Plus, much short story goodness.
The Buffy Tarot
The Full Minor and Major Arcana featuring the much
beloved characters and scenes from Buffy the Vampire

Fanfiction by Anaross including Unspoken, Nevertime,

Forgiven
I am enjoying reading the excellent Buffyverse stuff, so
hopefully, this list will continue to grow.
Got a rec you'd like to share? Please send it here. Can't
promise I'll list everything, but if I like it... I will!
Some very nice people wrote some very nice things about
my stories, my work and this website.
And here they are:
Hey. I'm still a little behind (still reading Regrets), but
I just wanted to say your story is alive. It has more vitality
than mere words. It feels like it moves as if it were of it's
own volition, and that is the best, absolutely best, kind of
story. The kind where you can jump in and be swept
away, because you know, even if it takes a turn you don't
like, that's the way it's gotta be. The story's gotta
tell itself, like the really good dreams do. I am so proud.
There are only 3 things that make me believe that we're
all more than just a collection of atoms: love, laughter,
and stories. Those may be the result of some higher
order of evolution of which we've yet to discover, but I
don't think it's as easy as all that. I'd just like to say
that you are a brilliantly shining bit of evidence that there
is something big and good out there holding us all
together and apart from the base material of this
existence.

I really wanted something Buffy to read..that was actually
impressive..I buy the books that come out here and
there..but yours is by far one of the best!! I haven't been
this enticed since Queen Of The Slayers..(which I think
you could have written better!!) . Honestly..I can't wait to
finish this story..but at the same time I don't want it to
end.
Thanks so much for inviting into your awesomely creative
world!!

This story is definitely going into my 'save forever' files.
You've done a terrific all-around job. Characterizations
are superb (particularly Andrew and Dawn), you've given
us intriguing, sympathetic and/or terrifying original
characters, and a solid and very involving plot. The build
up of mystery and tension is wonderful. I'm about 1/3 of
the way through Regrets as I write this, and am so excited
to see how long it is and that you're at work on a third
part to the story.
Thank you, thank you, thank you!

On a recc from mary5958 I bimbled over and started reading
something truly wonderful. I've lost two days of my life to it (and
now can't wait for more!).
I made the mistake of reading this as a Spuffy fic to begin with.
Don't. It is so very much more. It is now my preferred version of
a possible BtVS Season 8 and crafted in such a way that the
scenes come to life. I can see and hear Buffy et al speaking their
dialogue as they interact with each other. To say I recommend
this is an understatement. If you don't go and immerse yourself
in a wonderful and full-bloodied story, with plot upon plot and
care taken with each and every character (and when I say full
ensemble well...they're all there folks, honest). The original
characters are beautifully developed and merge seamlessly into
the tale, augmenting and driving as needs dictate. Best I get on
with the link stuff!
OK. Take yourself off to Celeste Hollister's wonderful saga, now
into its third part but starting HERE. I am in awe of her talent
and the scope of her vision - and having my faves paired
together doesn't hurt one whit! My only quibble was some minor
errors with regards to London/Brit references which jarred -
but nothing could take away from the tale. Nothing.
Thanks, Mary, for the pointer.

After a comical and dramatic chapter, you give us as good
an action sequence as I’ve seen. In so many fics dealing
with the battle, the author concentrated on the action
and had Angel & co. doing amazingly well. I love that this
one deals so much with strategy and, of course, ends
much more realistically. You do such a fabulous job of
conveying the horror, hopelessness, and desperation of
their situation. In two relatively short chapters, you
already have everything I could want in a fic, serious
action, family drama, angst-filled romance, and humor.
Having all that while staying true to the characters is
simply amazing.

All i can say is WOW!!! I've just started reading your story
but, so far, it's the best fan fic I've read. Negligible editing
mistakes ( close quotes/open new ones for multiple
characters ) but very easy to read. And most important I
can't wait to read the next part.
Dat Phukin' Spik
(Author's Note: In regard to the editing mistakes... I'm
slowly weeding through those. They seem to breed when
I'm not looking.)
I just wanted to tell you that I LOVED this story. You
captured all of the characters' personalities very very well
and had a plotline that was well put together. I want to
find out what is coming now! Please write more and tell!

Oh. My. God. Your story is just...just...I can't even find
the words. I was sitting on the edge of my seat, I couldn't
pull myself away, except for brief moments of stretcing
and walking around, but I just HAD to finish it tonight.
This is by far the greatest Buffy fanfic I have read. Please,
say that there is much much more??
Tiffany
I am enjoying the story. I've been trying to read a chapter
a day at work. I was only an occasional Buffy watcher
(mostly to watch Buffy and Willow :) ) so I don't know all
the characters or situations, but you've made me a fan of
your writing. Good writing is good writing.
and...
Reading (at work) your Buffy fiction and the bit about
English vampires is cracking me up. A great ability with
dialogue. A great narrative voice. And humor. I'm envious
of your writing.
Cormac Butler, aka Todd
I've read your stories, Wishes and Regrets, I loved them
both and I was
wondering if you plan on posting a third about what
happens next.
Please do.I bet laods of people would love to read more
stories from you.
Hannah
It's too perfect.
Monroe
Wow, you did a great job with this story. The plot
developed gradually. It didn't seem to slow or too fast.
The twist at the end with Angel was great and I can see
that happening. I hope you make a sequel following
Connor and his journey! Again, great job, this must have
taken a long time to write and develop.
IceQueen
Cool other-worldly theme. Good description without
getting
too wordy. You capture Buffy's arrival into a Sunnydale
where she had
jumped and things changed very well. I look forward to
seeing more of
Dawn and also William. Leaves you wanting more. Please
continue with
your excellent Fanfic work.
StevenH.
i am totally hooked on this story, thanks for writing it.
Mary K.
I've just started reading your story, its so good! Your so
talented at this, i've read loads of fanfic (not all Buffy
fanfic) and your definatly one of the most talented
writers out there! Keep up the good work! Please! :)
Suz
Hey...just started reading your story and just had to say
WOW...totally loving it. I'm hooked. Great work.
