The Book Lists
This was my first year of tracking and setting reading goals. My aim was 30 books, and I fell miserably short.

I re-read the
Harry Potter books in 03 to my daughter, which accounts for them appearing on two year's lists.
My favorite book, hands down, was
Where the Heart Is, by Billie Letts. This book truly changed my life,
because until then, I had never realized that people enjoyed reading this kind of novel. It's the kind of book I
want to write: genuine stories about genuine people who do their best to live good lives. I just love it.

Next favorite would have to be
A Night In The Lonesome October, by Zelazny. My favorite author writes at his
very best - irreverent melodrama. Jack the Ripper is the hero of this very short novel.
